We believe a quality college education should be accessible to all. Because of this we do not charge an application fee, and offer test-optional admissions. Completing this application should take less than 10 minutes--so you can start and submit today.  Rosemont now offers several options for admission with early action, early decision, and regular decision application deadlines for fall. 

Fall 2025:           
Early Action -  December 1, 2024
Early Decision  -  February 1, 2025
Regular Decision -  February 15, 2025

To be eligible students must: 
  1. Have a high school GPA of 3.25 or higher 
  2. Provide examples of a commitment to Social Justice 
  3. Submit a completed admissions application
  4. Submit official high school transcripts 
  5. Submit FAFSA at studentaid.gov entering Rosemont school code 003360 (not required, but highly suggested) 

For your scholarship application to be complete, you must: 
  • Complete an application, either Online or Common Application, and be admitted to Rosemont College. 
  • Submit a 500-word essay on the following topic: The Cornelian mission is based on persistence and courage in promoting justice with compassion. Describe a personal experience during your time in high school in which you promoted a cause that you felt was just. What was the result? What did you learn from this experience? 
  • Submit one letter of recommendation from a source other than that used for your Rosemont College application. This could be a counselor, teacher, or a member of the community who is familiar with your academic work and/or your community service work.

Personal Story -Essay Options

For your application to be complete, you must submit an essay using one of the following options: 
  • Some students have a background, identity, interest, or talent that is so meaningful they believe their application would be incomplete without it. If this sounds like you, then please share your story.
  • The lessons we take from obstacles we encounter can be fundamental to later success. Recount a time when you faced a challenge, setback, or failure. How did it affect you, and what did you learn from the experience?
  • If you are applying for the Cornelian Scholarship program: A minimum of 500-word essay on a, personal experience during your time in high school in which you promoted a cause that you felt was just. What was the result? What did you learn from this experience?
