We are glad you are interested in joining the Rosemont community - a place where you will be supported in achieving your full potential! By completing the following application, you will have taken the first step toward a future where your individual strengths, values and beliefs are appreciated and supported.

We believe that a quality college education should be accessible to all. Therefore, we do not charge an application fee and we offer test-optional admissions. Completing this application should take less than 10 minutes, so you can start and submit today. Once we receive your application, we will follow up to let you know what supporting information we need to consider your admission.

Rosemont College offers many different Graduate and Professional Level degree options:

i.  Accelerated Undergraduate - For students who are seeking to start or complete an Associate's or a Bachelor's degree in Applied Psychology, Business Administration, Criminal Justice or Writing Studies. These degrees are offered in an accelerated 7-week term.
ii. Accelerated Graduate - For students seeking to start or complete a Graduate Master's Degree in Business Administration, Education with PK-4 Teacher (on-campus), Strategic Leadership, Healthcare Administration, or Homeland Security. These degrees are offered in an accelerated 7-week term.
iii. Traditional Graduate - For students seeking to start or complete a MEd in Higher Education & Student Affairs Administration, a Graduate Master's Degree in Creative Writing, Counseling, Publishing (online) or Education with Principal Certification, Reading Certification or ESL Specialist Certification. These degrees are offered in a traditional 14-week semester.
iv. Certificate Only - For students interested in obtaining a certificate in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, ESL, Forensic Psychology, Healthcare Administration, Homeland Security and Emergency Management, Human Resource Management, Novel Writing, Principal Certification, Reading Specialist, or Strategic Leadership certifications.

Please Note: Continual registration as a full-time student at Rosemont College is required for all students living on campus. For graduate students, this requirement is met by registering for a minimum of 9 credits for each academic semester. Graduate students in accelerated programs with seven-week sessions are also required to take 9 credits (three courses) per academic semester while living on campus. A meal plan in required for all on-campus residents. Requests for exemptions from this requirement must be made in writing to the Director of Residence Life and will be granted in special circumstances only. Graduate dorms are single study bedrooms with a shared, single-sex communal bathrooms.

Statement of Purpose - Optional

Personal Statement - Required
All students interested in Rosemont College's Counseling program are also required to complete a personal statement (450 - 500 words) describing:
 
(a) your passion(s) for the profession and the population(s) and/or demographics you aspire to help through counseling services,
(b) how you intend to develop meaningful relationships with these population(s) and/or demographics within the counseling relationship, and
(c) what personal biases or multicultural challenges may you encounter when working with these population(s) and/or demographics as well as how you may overcome them to become an effective counseling professional.
